Women Leadership

Overview

 

Engaging the labyrinth and cultural models, this course will help women aspiring and holding leadership roles know themselves at a deeper level and see the challenges and trade-offs of being a woman in federal service leadership. Integral to the program are lessons learned from women leaders in federal and public service and how they put leadership concepts into action and exhibit courage when needed.

Being a woman in a leadership role has its unique challenges and concerns. This course addresses these and helps prepare you for advancing your leadership in the Federal Government. Small workgroups allow you to put course content into action by working with peers and leadership experts to develop plans for improving your leadership effectiveness on the job.

  • Learn from women leaders who have insight into what it takes to be a successful federal leader.

Managers, supervisors, team leaders and others with leadership responsibilities who are interested in understanding and improving personal leadership skills and effectiveness. Individuals with a leadership function will also benefit from this course.
